April 12, 2024 - Dusty yellow. Sharp buttery, somewhat rich with hints of popcorn and perfume. Intense and balanced palate with a very pronounced acidity, retained fruit but with light tertiary notes and a liquorice or fennel undertone through a lengthy finish. Has definitely improved and is wonderful now while it can be saved for further aging.
March 31, 2024 - See previous notes. Pale yellow in glass. Medium plus intensity on the nose. Lemon curd, oyster shell, minerality and flint. Medium plus acidity and body. Long finish. Can drink now or hold.
March 3, 2024 - This was really good after being open for 3 hours (no decant). Jenna loved it.

February 29, 2024 - Drinking great. My 4th of 6 bottles. Continues to be a crowd pleasing wine.
October 27, 2023 - Burgundy Wimps 2023 - Hôtel Frédéric Carrion table (La Trompette): Quite a shy nose, with a whisper of something aromatically complex and attractive, like a fresh, greenish marine cologne. Interesting to contrast this to the turbocharged 2014, as this 2015 didn't have any obvious warm vintage character, just less crackling acidity. Creamy and sleek on the palate, with an appetising bitter, clean finish. Nothing out of place here, and good typicity, but I'd have liked a bit more excitement.
October 2, 2023 - Classic Dauvissat at a great drinking window. Light yellow gold color, very fresh nose of crushed stones and seashells, seafoam, lemon chiffon pie and spearmint. Concentrated palate yet light on its feet. Of course many years ahead of it, but developing well. Nice.
July 28, 2023 - Bright citrus fruit, lively acidity, and nice minerality. This is really in the zone right now for my taste. Lovely!
July 6, 2023 - Very mineral, green apple, some white flowers and lemon, seashell. Took quite a while to open up, but I felt like this missed just a bit of intensity to be great.
June 27, 2023 - Opened to a very lime, lemony nose which eventually evolved into a more balanced juice with more air. Zesty palate which also gained weight with more air.
June 25, 2023 - Popped and poured with seafood. Medium to full bodied. Lovely crisp nose of white flowers, apples, and flint. The wine shows good freshness and ripe orchard fruit. Nicely delineated and focused. Early maturity. In a good spot.
