January 24, 2021 - Was a little concerned that the CT window ended 2015 and most recent note posted in 2016, but shouldn't have been. Beautiful cab with great balance of fruit and secondary, savory notes. Tannins fully resolved, great with food or on its own.

May 15, 2016 - At home with steaks, decanted for about an hour, drank over 90 minutes. Last bottle from a well preserved stash, finishing out a weekend of tasting the 2001 Napa vintage

From prior notes: "Dark ruby color, no visible signs of age. Nose was dark berries, allspice, floral and herbs. Nice aroma on the decant, still very full and rich. Palate repeats with black fruits, blueberries, cedar, cocoa, burnt sugar. Medium mouthfeel, long finish"

This is a well aged wine at full maturity, really drinking well, hitting all the secondary notes. Tannins are smooth and refined

January 11, 2015 - Aroma of huckleberry and incense. Licorice and chocolate - deep, rich. Not much longer - drink up.

November 19, 2014 - With Valerie and her pals on a weeknight visit...purchased this at release from the vineyard, was time to revisit, first wine of the night. PnP, drank over about an hour

Dark ruby color, no visible signs of age. Nose was dark berries, allspice, floral and herbs. Nice aroma on the decant, still very full and rich. Palate repeats with black fruits, blueberries, cedar, cocoa, burnt sugar. Medium mouthfeel, long finish

Really nice wine that's aged beautifully. In a good spot now, was WOTN for a couple guests...my guess is it drink at this level for another 5 years....good stuff
