September 29, 2021 - 30 min decant. Only a little sediment apparent. What an easy drinker. Red currents, cranberry but with none of the tartness. Alcohol flavor perfectly waits patiently until the other flavors have had a turn and then presents itself in an orderly fashion. Smooth. Like rubbing your hand on freshly finely sanded wood. Think 220 grit. Med to short finish.

April 11, 2021 - Second day of Drinking this: decent sweeetness coming from a ripe harvest. On the first day it paired well with beef, now 24 hours later quite pleasent on its own...a bit of prunes suggesting the heat of the vintage. No heat though in the aftertaste, alcohol well resolved, tannins are smoother and i taste no bitterness on the exit. Just enough acidity to balance this one out. A bit of stable, not unpleasent, interminging with back fruits on the nose, dry but not drying on entry. Smooth full bodied CdP. First of a few bottles bought for around 30€ on release. I like it and recommend air as it seems far more accessible now on day 2.

December 15, 2020 - A heavy-handed brute that is a little disjointed at this stage; however, it softened over several days in open bottle. I could easily see this aging well over several decades. Suggest decanting well before consuming.

April 22, 2019 - Served by the glass. I do not understand the expectation raised around this bottle. Apparently it is based on a tasting in the United Kingdom was one of the winners. To my modest understanding does not gather great qualities. It is young and still has very hard tannins with too much structure for such thin acidity. Aromatically highlights the black fruit and wood in the signature of licorice memories. If anything, time will tell.
Servido por copas. No entiendo la expectación levantada en torno a esta botella. Al parecer se basa en que en una cata en Reino Unido fue una de las triunfadoras. A mi modesto entender no reúne grandes cualidades. Es joven y tiene todavía unos taninos muy duros con demasiada estructura para una acidez tan fina. Aromáticamente sobresale la fruta negra y la madera en firma de recuerdos a regaliz. Si acaso, el tiempo dirá.2 people found this helpful Comment
