April 24, 2021 - Relatively light and fresh C9dP: red cherry, earthy, clove, prune, plum, graphite, touch of heat (15,5 %), fig, medium body, long finish.

December 27, 2020 - This is pure Grenache from lieu-dit La Gardiole. Clear ruby red, perfumed aromas of licorice, strawberry jam, cherry, cinnamon and black cherries, very juicy on the palate, with pure fruit and sweet tannin, highly aromatic finish. Feels rather fresh despite 15.5% alcohol. Drink now and over the next 10 years.

October 11, 2020 - Syrah dominant. Opens up very well after 20mins. Enjoyed this wine - drinking well

July 25, 2020 - Decanted three hours, one of the more impressive noses I've experienced. Aromatics are like a core sample; deep, focused and layered. Cherry, herbs, stretching long into a late finish of cinnamon and candied fruit. Second night there's there's quite a bit of cherry licorice, concentrated like syrup which uncoils into something closer to brandy. Also vague hints of vanilla as the distinct scent of twizzlers dissipates.

Texturally silky, some lemon, Provencial herbs, dark fruit, formation of black licorice and lurking chalky tannins. While these notes were all lovely I ultimately found a lack of cohesion in their expression. Alcohol had such an intense presence (at 15.5% and with such a light body it's hard to be surprised) which made everything else tinny and thin by comparison. More cherry brandy notes.

While there were some pleasant moments I'm not sure if time will resolve the scorching heat. It's important for me to note too that things seemed more disjointed on the second night.
