June 28, 2019 - Delicious and a smooth operator with lamb. Opened with 70% chocolate and slowly worked its way down the ladder to an easy melting milk chocolate. Superb!

April 20, 2019 - very nicely done CF. nose of plush plummy loam, followed by an almost pinot-like weight of red and dark fruits, polished tannins, great salinity. a little rough herbal texture on the finish to remind you it’s CF - but an inviting dose of secondary flavors. drinking beautifully now.

December 5, 2017 - Powerful! Very young, and unintegrated. Very good varietal correctness with a healthy smattering of oak. Obtrusive alcohol at present, but the wine has the substance to handle it once integrated. It seems unfair to score this right now, as it is so primary. Recommend holding for several years.

December 5, 2017 - Layered and lush bright fruits up front with plenty of spices and some herbal notes, peppers and green olives, followed by fresh loam. Rich on the palate with glycerin as the finish echoes. Interested to see how these age as this was still very youthful. Amazing 1st effort for Travis Allen, bravo. 92-93pts
