June 23, 2020 - Rather open and wide on the palate, with ripeness accompanied by moderately firm tannins. Dark, but not opaque color, still very primary in its flavor profile. Was expecting a wow factor but it never really delivered.

January 9, 2020 - Color is dark but not super opaque. Nose is complex clove, almond, mocha. Round mouth, turns to a little pleasant bite. Dark cherry, grilled meat, leather. Big body. Very long great finish.

September 12, 2019 - Seven hour decant. Very deep dark magenta color. Cinnamon, blackberry, maraschino cherry, caramel, anise and dates, along with subtle candy cane and black olive on the rich, fruit forward nose. Super smooth, dusty palate, with fine acidity and laced with cinnamon and anise. Firm, full tannins on the medium+ finish. Beautiful wine, but finish could have been longer. 80% CS, 17% Merlot and 3% PV

July 19, 2019 - Bottle 4 of 4 Robert Foley Sip 'n Snack Day. Just when we thought Nirvana had been achieved, we slip into this stunner. Perhaps the culmination of Robert Foley. Pure dark purple red. Opaqueness can be a good thing!!! Nose is perfectly balanced after 7 hours breathing. Wow, wow, wow. Soft, rich, full welcoming of cherries on the nose. Slick, salubrious, soft texture on the palate. A Napa-Bordeaux blend baby ready to sip now and for the near future. She is the "keeper". Introduce to Mom, Dad, friends, etc. Her grace, strong personality, confident stride and elegant engagement will make you the King of Her Court with everyone in attendance wishing they were you. Giver her Grandma's ring...now!!!
