  May 24, 2023 - Dense core of spiced raspberry and black cherry. Layers of forest floor and leather. A touch of funky horse sweat but not overwhelming. Very structured on the palate with a long, earthy finish. Drink now or hold.

  Medium garnet.
  
  Pronounced on the nose with raspberry, black cherry, cedar, cinnamon, clove, earth, leather, forest floor, mushroom and horse sweat. Developing.
  
  Pronounced and dry on the palate. Medium (-) body, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium tannins, long finish.
  
  Can drink now but has potential for ageing.

  July 30, 2019 - what went wrong here ? fruit is practically not present and a very aggressive burnt tire smell welcomes you on the nose and continues in the mouth. Either keep this 15 years hoping the pirelli tire goes away or don't bother...highly rated by wine critics....go figure!

  July 1, 2019 - Medium ruby red in the glass. Richness is projected straight from the nose - lots of freshly picked berry fruit, both red and black and some Christmas spices. Very youthful at the moment, but approachable nonetheless (not green). Coating mouthfeel, crisp acidity, solid concentration, long finish. Not rich in the sense of it being a powerhouse, but it's just an all-over really made wine that has a fine string of delicacy to it. This is something you want to stock up on for the apocalypse.

  June 7, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Expressive nose displaying bright red fruit with a hint of black, strawberry, blackberry, rose, dark spices and earth. Excellent concentration, packed sweet red fruit, unctuous and rich, good acidity and mineral and a long sweet black fruit driven finish. It is a big scale wine that needs another decade or two
