    March 21, 2020 - Color: Inky purple
    Nose: Raspberry, Oaky, and Smoky
Taste: Hits heavy Fruit Forward Zinfandel with Black Cherry and Raspberry; Middle has some Syrah notes with Plenty of Spices and Dark Fruit; Finishes Rounded with Smoky and Spicy Notes; Good Lingering notes of Acidity and Light Tannins
Comp’s: More Fruity than The Fugitive and Prisoner; Good for on its own or with a hodge Podge of food

November 5, 2018 - A complete in-your-face bomb of blackcurrants and other really fragrant fruit, chocolate, vanilla, blueberry syrup, baking spice, but balanced and harmonious as well. Surely a good dollop of petite sirah in there. Perfect pop and pour, as the lighter aromatics (eg blackcurrants, spices) blew off after day 1. Oxygen is not its friend. Could be a crowd pleaser for red wine phobics, as it's certainly accessible and certain to impress (one way or the other).

October 6, 2017 - Wine Tasting Nightmare (Total Wine, Tempe, AZ): We were told this wine was better than “The Prisoner” and once tasted, you will never go back. This “One Armed Man” tasted like it really needed the other arm. The wine tasted mostly like a cheap Paso or Lodi Zinfandel. The Prisoner blend doesn’t hit you in the face with the Zin and other varietals are added to bring tannins and acidity to the party. For a few dollars more, find The Prisoner on sale and enjoy.

February 4, 2017 - Nice red. I could taste the black-cherry & spice, not a heavy zin, average acidity. I would say it is medium-bodied. Unlike other Zins which leave spice lingering in your mouth.
