  June 10, 2023 - And seven years after the last note, this one fooled me at first. On the PnP, it was obviously fully matured - and then after two hours in the decanter it was a very nice, sharp, not massively complex Bordeaux that went incredibly well with steak. After three hours though, it reveals itself - that reduction/greenness resolves and it becomes a very smooth, nicely powerful wine that I wish I'd kept more of. Kids, if you drink this, decant it three hours before judging. [Accidentally left half a glass in the bottle. Still hanging on - more than a little - on day two.]

  April 27, 2013 - delightful with its fresh spicy raspberry flavored cherry; even and steady throughout; a nice surprise for me as I have had this before and it is rounding out and evolving into a fine wine
