December 24, 2023 - Didn’t pair well with flank steak, too much heat and RS. Should really shine with pork or pizza.
June 28, 2023 - Deep purple color with dark fruit on the nose which is joined by spice on the palate and finnish. Drank over 2 nights with no significant deterioration.
January 13, 2023 - Powerful zin with high alcohol. Definitely hot when the cork was first popped but some time in the glass and decanter softened it out. Nice spice and fruit flavors and a medium to long finish. Went very well with a roast pork dinner.
December 31, 2022 - High alcohol content. Definitely needed to drink this with more caution haha
December 26, 2022 - Much better than last bottle - a great ripe ZIN - but probably won’t get better
October 20, 2022 - Since I'm a true "fruit bomb guy" this is one of my favs. I love to have this at the end of a big Italian meal with a piece of chocolate cake

April 14, 2022 - It’s good but has never reached the heights of the 2014 - seems like the alcohol is more prominent now than when younger

June 26, 2021 - Huge fruit bomb with very high alcohol. Best paired with chocolate dessert, closer to port. Not sure why Martinelli continues to push alcohol so high, but it’s the main reason I don’t buy their zins anymore.
Having said that, it was tasty but not my style.
