July 14, 2019 - Killer bourgogne rouge with tangy nicely delineated red berry fruit, med. light body, elegant, delish right now but will go a long way even for this level, me thinks. Got a nice little whiff of complementary brett after a while, others disagreed with me, but seemed quite distinctive. Actually preferred this to the Taupenot Merme Corton Rognnet '15 which seemed closed, clumsy, and a bit monolithic at this point. EWG Entre Nous. 91-92

June 29, 2019 - PNP from a bottle off a store shelf. Bright and juicy right out of the bottle, with a nice mineral element. Light and easy to drink. With some air it closed a bit and reopened at 90 minutes with a bit more expansive fruit. Very enjoyable - nothing too complex of course but the best Bourgogne I have had recently. Sure it's a big price premium to the others at this level because it is Leroy, but it really is quite good. B+/A-

June 19, 2019 - Beaucoup de fruit, c'est assez nourri même si court.
    Pas méchant.

May 31, 2019 - This continues to be a fab little wine, and is not showing signs of closing up as I thought a couple of years ago. Slight spritz on opening blows off. A lovely transparent and diaphonous style. Wild strawberry and hints of smoke. Such grace. Vaguest hints of herbs and balsamic somewhere in there too. Palate slick and fresh, though also decently round and fruited. Aérien! Puts on a little weight with air over a few hours, and starts to darken in mood *slightly*, in line with the 2015 character: a hint of game. Lacy tannins. Whatever power there is is covered all over with grace. Not especially complex or long though, but this is cracking and refined Bourgogne. I can't afford any other Leroy but if this is the house style the top wines must be truly astonishing.

May 18, 2019 - This is delicious as expected. Of the three 2015 Bourgogne I’ve had thus far (Fourrier and Hudelot-Noellat) being the others this was the clear winner. Lovely ripe red fruit with a mineral note of crushed rock, violet, a bit of spice and petrichor. The palate is lovely and nicely balanced not at all over ripe. Very good and very good value. Nice to be able to try Leroy’s style without breaking the bank
