January 25, 2024 - Really good. First night with a 30 min decant, was fantastic in nose and palate - the tannins bit a little hard, but after bottling it back up, the second night brought more pleasure.
Would do a decent decant on this. 2-3 hour prob make this great to go.
December 3, 2023 - PnP. Big, bold, doesn't need a decant. Aromas of blackberry, chocolate-covered cherries, smoked meat, earth and cedar. Rich, loaded with flavor, black fruits, earth, exotic spice, cherry and cedar. Fine tannins in the long finish. Beautiful balance. My last bottle, but years of life left.
August 27, 2023 - I’ll go with the crowd on this one. Lots going on, good flavors and not too tannic, especially first night. May have needed some food later, or more age. But lots to build on.
May 28, 2023 - PnP. Opens with nice aromas of blackberry, chocolate-covered cherries, smoked meat earth and cedar. Medium bodied. Layers of black fruits, earth, exotic spice, cherry and cedar. Fine tannins in the long finish. Beautiful balance.
January 9, 2023 - There is still a vanilla oak character that I am not in love with. Seems like others think this is in prime time right now, but for me a bit more rest is in order.
November 25, 2022 - Decanted and let it breathe for 2 hours. Wonderful and drinking well now. Lovely Cab.
November 18, 2022 - Close to perfection incredible balance of acid and ripe fruit. A powerhouse. Hasn’t peaked yet.
November 11, 2022 - No complaints. It is ready to go.
November 11, 2022 - Certainly in the midst of its prime. Didn’t decant-didn’t matter as was smooth and balanced. Tannins were not overpowering but had a nice long finish. A keeper.
