May 27, 2023 - P&P; paired with lamb and orzo. Delicious Syrah showing lots of blackberry fruit, hints of barnyard funk and cracked peppercorn. Showed well right off the pop! Drink now - 2030.

October 5, 2022 - Dark crimson in color. 15% ABV. Stunning nose of red fruits, citrus, bacon fat and flowers. Medium body with perfect acidity and impeccable balance. Lighter in style than previous vintages. Cherry, raspberry liqueur, olive brine and gamy meat on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Carlisle Syrah with a Northern Rhone flair. Atypical but delicious. Best over the next 2-4 years.

August 4, 2022 - Popped and poured. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, smoked meat, chocolate and bramble. Black and blue fruit, chocolate, bramble and fine tannins on the palate. Lingering finish. Full bodied. Served with sloppy joes.

April 19, 2022 - Deep crimson. Decanted. Generous blackberry and sumptuous savory textures, with fruit and umami elements beautifully balanced and fully integrated. Ideal for current consumption.

April 7, 2022 - Decanted several hours prior to first taste. Dark berry fruit, cracked pepper, hints of barnyard funk. This holds it's 15+% alcohol well, with very little heat apparent. Very enjoyable Syrah that benefitted from the decant. Drink now - 2030.
