September 28, 2021 - Dark burgundy color, almost full bodied, rich dark cherry flavor, subdued tannins, smooth and easy to drink. This is a wonderful Pinot Noir.

May 25, 2020 - Expected more from this single vineyard Pinot Noir. While there is dark cherry fruit with hints of Asian spice and licorice on the finish, this wine is generally austere. Not so good value...liked it, did not love it.

April 12, 2020 - Burgundy color with a bouquet and flavor of raspberries, earth, and Pinot Noir spiciness. Good balance and depth with considerable nuance and a long finish. More jammy than liqueur impression, if I can use analogy (no wine note would be impossible otherwise). Very distinct from other California Pinot Noirs.

November 12, 2019 - Big voluptuous wine. Black licorice, Asian spices and strawberry preserves. Long finish. Not sweet or hot. This needs a few more years to fully come into its own.
