    August 28, 2021 - Dark red colour with violet reflexes. Dark berry fruit and a lot of tobacco, coffee, bell pepper and after some breathing cassis. There is a lot tannin here but it is smooth and fine grained. Kirsch liquor, plum and more chocolate on the palate. This is starting to open up and I asume it will drink well for quite a time. It is well worth the money and I like the dark fruit completamented by this ceder and sandalwood. Wonderful grip and a charming Bordeaux, made by Stefan Paeffgen with a lot of enthusiasm and quite an effort (keeping old vines in production, very good barriques etc.) and the result shows it.

    April 13, 2018 - Very young. Big nose of cassis, cedar and tobacco. Intense tannins and acids with medium body. If something is lacking it is more fruit-stuffing in the middle. Should probably not try this again before 2020.
