    August 3, 2019 - Bu en Succ lors des nouveaux arrivages.
    Herbes et poivrons surtout. Mures, cassis et anis avec
    une petite touche de vanille.
    Tanins charnus et assez long.
    Bien.

    April 25, 2019 - 14% abv. Screwcap.
    As others have noted, there is a prominent green, herbal streak to this. It's also got some ripe notes as well, so not completely old world tasting. Certainly doesn't remind me of Bordeaux. And completely different from Napa-style Cabs, as this has little or no oak and is not "polished" at all. Good balancing acidity as well. I actually found this to be very enjoyable and interesting, and I appreciate the pure style of this Cabernet. Excellent focused mouthfeel as well. That said, lovers of the Napa style will probably not like this at all (I find the style enjoyable but boring). Very well made and high quality for $20. I'll have to be on the lookout for more Margaret River wines.

    April 7, 2019 - PnP, with aromas of dill, currant, and eucalyptus on the nose. Lean and green on the palate, somewhat astringent, with alternating notes of currant and bitter greens. Didn't change over the course of the night, and remained harsh on day 2. There was an elegance to the mouthfeel though; this needs a couple of years.

    March 8, 2019 - Medium deep ruby colour. Aromas of red currant, cherry, and, surprisingly, black pepper (which, after investigation, comes from the malbec portion, 14%). Palate is full with dusty tannins, with the peppery spice quite pronounced.

    Gave this one over two hours in the decanter, and paired with peppered steak with a red wine, brandy, and sour cream jus - the pepper in the steak and the wine were perfect compliments to one another.

    March 1, 2019 - My rating will go higher as this ages a bit and loses that intense flush of youthful fruit.

    Tonnes of flavour. Herbal touch. Very nice wine.

    I’m not sure how long it will age, perhaps best not to keep it too long. Then again it’s under screwcap, will probably improve up to 10 years old. Meanwhile it will give a lot of pleasure.

    {14%, screwcap}
