Overall this gave a muted but mature, savoury impression, very Gevrey, but subtle, restrained, citrus, animale, prominent dark Asian spice, cola, chinotto, meaty, very savoury spice driven, mineral, weightless, enjoyed over 5 hours, retained a youthful edge and freshened considerably with air. -

November 24, 2022 - Initially quite closed. After an hour more open, lean and light, but very elegant. Rather feminine (in a good way) for Gevrey-Chambertin. Dark cherry fruit, sweet spices, medium finish, very good! 91-92.

Classic Berthaut on the nose. Fragrant and floral. Elegant. Light touch.
Pretty red fruits on the palate. I picked up some strawberry. Hint of spice on the palate. Easy to enjoy.
Closely working my way through a case of this wine. Getting better and better with more time in the bottle.
