March 15, 2024 - Forest floor strawberry and pot pourri on the nose. Light to medium bodied with silky tannins pure unctuous v clean raspberry / strawberry fruit (that seems to get more delicious with time in the glass) and some subtle iron minerally grip on the finish. Just what you would wish for with a MSD village wine, nicely balanced and terroir communicative.

November 11, 2018 - Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. More black vs red fruit comes across as ripe and spicy, with lots of whole cluster character. Fun and powerful, even if easy and modestly complex.

February 24, 2018 - Lovely floral nose with orange oils. Elegant though packed with juicy fruits on the palette. Silky tannins too. Amazing for a village wine and testament to the beautiful 2015 vintage

February 20, 2018 - At Le Bernardin NYC. Very enjoyable with no decant at a business dinner. Medium bodied, fruit forward, silky and quite precocious for such a young wine. Dark ruby, aromas of rose petal, cherries and stones. Very well balanced and an excellent accompaniment to the perfect cuisine at what is my favorite restaurant in the country. Great QPR, drinks like a premier cru. Very well executed.
