September 2, 2021 - For me, just too much. Cloying and some odd reductive flavors. No score.

June 27, 2021 - Epic wine. Drank after a 4 hour decant and was better for it. Silky smooth, lush, nice balance of red and black fruits. Not too acidic or alcoholic. More Medium bodied than I expected. Just great stuff.

April 17, 2021 - I continue to be disappointed in California Cabernet overall now that I have discovered burgundy. This is a well made wine but is so heavy on alcohol and feels cloying, overpowering and too alcoholic for my palette. I will look to sell the remaining bottles and magnums I have of this.

January 12, 2021 - 100% Cabernet Sauvignon in 90% new barrels. 14.8% alcohol. 560 cases. All the wine geniuses give it 100 points and say “perfect”. Even the All Blacks 77 per-cent winning record in test-match rugby, and Japan's conviction rate of over 99 percent are not perfect. C’mon fellas!

Dark, luscious, glamorous purple. The somewhat intimidating liquid swishing around in the glass glares at you like a Marvel superhero daring you to give her a try. No worries...we always do when others insist 😉

Aromas of blueberries, blackberries, wet leaves, milk chocolate, toasty oak, fruity-woody-black currant, eg cassis. All coming together nicely, but screaming youthful exuberance.

Full body, rich, intense fruit bomb. Every berry known to humankind attacking your palate in a robust manner. Sturdy liquid down the palate. Long, lingering aftertaste. Happy problem: one need not, necessarily, have another sip as the initial one remains overwhelming like the first time you made out with someone who made you feel special ❤️

Powerful, elegant, integrated. We have tk agree with the geniuses that this drop is stunning. Sip now or lay down for decades...if you possess the patience.
