    November 20, 2019 - Bought online The Wine Society UK £16.00 in 2019.

    Room temp, decanted 1 hr previous.

    A little disappointed with this Ch. de Beauregard 'La Salomine' cuvee Moulin-a-Vent AC, this producer's 'Clos des Perelles' cuvee from the same AC - for around the same money - was a much better wine, I thought. Won't be buying the 'La Salomine' again., medium body

    N....ripe fruit, sweet cherry. Not intense.

    T.....lively acid balanced decent - but not great - fruit; a bit short, nothing's sustained; dry enough (Beaujolais??) to be more of a Foodie wine than a Quaffer; fury tannins morph into a crunchy edge; it's 'correct' but just too simple, a tad boring; lacks charm.

    VFM....doesn't feel worth it's £16. Next time I'll buy this producer's 'Clos des Perelles' cuvee which I've tasted and thought was much better.
