  August 16, 2013 - Excellent deep ruby color, fine nose and strong structured taste showing earthy somewhat chewy tannins with slightly fading fruit. Will probably go for another 2-3 years.

  Nose: clean, dark cherry, strawberry, cranberry, licorice, smoke, dust
  Palate: dark cherry, strawberry (hint), licorice, balanced but small tannins & acid, short finish for a Rioja, clean

  April 13, 2008 - Tasted double blind. Notes of dark cherry, spice and red fruit. Herbs and spicy red fruit on the medium bodied palate. Decent finish with a bit of woody herbal tones.

  March 28, 2007 - Drank in 2 nights. 1 st night was lacking in fruit sweetness and body. Again it is dilute. 2nd day was slightly better , but again it is shallow and no real depth. But it is easy drinking wine. Alots of strawberry smell. It is smooth and elegant. But Would not buy again. for the price, it is good value. 84
