  March 2, 2021 - It’s a sad night. I finished off my final bottle of this delightful wine. It is satisfying in every way. Great balance of fruit, oak, sweetness and tang enrobed with gently vibrant tannins on the tongue. A really nice bottle.

  September 19, 2020 - Easily the WOTN....bordering on a 96 for me.....have had quite a few bottles of this.......this is the last of them. Drinking as well as ever, no disappointment here. Fruit is exquisite, tannins are integrated, acidity is still strong...or is that the 15.5 alc? Either way it works and it works very, very well. Wish I had more of these. Enjoyed by all........except Carol, who's cold turkey, tonight.

  March 23, 2020 - 3/21/2020 - I LIKE THIS WINE: 95 pts. Mistakenly placed this review under the wrong Del Dotto wine the other night.....
  
  Wow! This is THE most complete wine of the night, but maybe not THE WOTN. This is drinking especially well right now. The most balanced of the wines tonight and the most well put together. Everything is in balance. If you have some of these, please enjoy. It is drinking exceptionally well right now. There is great fruit, balanced cedar, tannins and a beautiful finish. This may be my fav of the night.

  January 28, 2020 - Still going strong. Super smooth and full bodied, with dark abundant fruit well integrated. Really enjoyed by friends as a step up from the Stags Leap wines they currently imbibe. Starting to throw major sediment so may transition in the near future. Unfortunately my last bottle, but a great way to go out. 95

  December 13, 2019 - Drinking very well......dark in the glass, basic cab nose on opening. Dark rich fruit, plenty of sweet tobacco and perfectly matched acidity. Slight tinge of iron or oxblood on the back end. Just a great wine. Careful on the last pour, rich sediment in the bottle bottom.
