September 22, 2017 - Another delicious vintage of this top flight rosé. It really doesn't get any better IMHO. Excellent wine to enjoy at the Hollywood Bowl.

June 26, 2017 - Some good notes here already; at the end of the day (bottle), I was pleased with the results, but felt there were a few things missing, too. Those things, or at least some of them, may come with additional time in the bottle (I wouldn't be surprised), but I think this wine on its best day is still just OK. It's classy, and understated, but it's also a bit simple; was hoping for more. Still, glad to have 3 more as I feel it's only going to improve from here - will see if I can stretch them out over the next 12 months, no more. 12,0% abv.

PnP, served non-blind; better on the warmer end of the spectrum - might even improve with 60 minutes of air in decanter.

June 22, 2017 - 100 % cab franc. Medium bodied red grape. Colder region cf leans tart cherry, (red fruit) with the result that the rose is a refreshingly acidic berry. Little hints of gravel. More raspberry than strawberry.

May 24, 2017 - 100% cabernet franc from organic viticulture, fermented in steel with indigenous yeast and blocked malo. The nose is downright flirty, with confected notes of raspberry candy, fresh forest strawberries, a slice of green apple and a hint of wet rocks. The taste is more convincing, dry with fresh acidity, pure flavours and a clean finish. Pretty nice, would have been better without the cold-ferment esters.
