February 24, 2021 - The snobs among us may describe this as “quaffable.” Delicious with just enough complexity to be interesting, and a great value at ~$30. Pale ruby and almost pink in color. The nose is ripe, tangy and red with cranberries, raspberries, red currant and a slightly candied aroma. There’s a slightly green herbal note with rosemary and thyme. The palate has a sweet + sour + spice thing going on with the same red fruits from the nose accentuated by a perfumed citrus note of orange, orange blossom, and orange zest.
