  September 28, 2022 - Dark red. Raspberry, red candy, and cinnamon nose. Medium bodied, cranberries, tart cherries, mint, soft tannins, good acid, and a medium length finish. Well made and a good value.

  September 21, 2019 - To the nose, green forest with mushroom, and berries (esp dark fruit) On the palate, initial thought is a candied CdP but the sweetness dissipates as it opens up. Fruit of black cherry and black raspberry more than blackberry, boysenberry and red cherry. Spices of white pepper, black pepper, and allspice. Very slight leather - no oak, smoke or tobacco. Some cola, actually root beer may be closer, as well. Tannins in the background in laces. A moderate Cote de Rhone type mouthfeel with a moderate CdR length. Very smooth, with the complexities and transitions in background. Excellent QPR. Would make an excellent everyday red and sweet enough to appeal to newbies. The Pinot Princess and I both blindly put it at 89.

  January 12, 2019 - This wine has improved with nearly a year of aging, and I can comfortably rate it an 89 and hope I can find some more! Quite a delicious GSM.

  October 19, 2018 - Vibrant fruits and oak in balance. Lush and lasting finish of spice. Great QPR. Totally recommend.
