November 30, 2020 - Appearance : pale ruby with legs
On nose : med+ intensity, red fruit : red current, raspberries, red flora, tea leaves, green pepper spiciness, French oakiness, quiet complex.
On palate : med intensity flavour, high acidity, red current, tea leaves and dry leafiness dominated, savoury and some bitterness aftertaste with med finishing.
A enjoyable wine with no hardship but a bit simple on palate. I will say it is a well made Pinot from new old where all the flavour is coming fast but not long lasting. Cheers! -

January 19, 2019 - Very good and easy to drink. The berries came through quickly but the after taste of mint and dark chocolate made me wanting two more bottles.

August 23, 2018 - Being lazy here ....
Fragrant aromas of cherry and blueberry with hints of spice. Medium bodied style with fine silky length, vibrant characters of cherry, strawberry and stalky savoury and spice notes.
Sourced from low yielding vineyards in the Lower and Upper Yarra Valley, all fruit is selectively handpicked prior to its delivery into the winery. It is made using a variety of handling and fermentation techniques, including the use of whole bunches. Each batch is then matured in new and used oak for nine months, prior to blending and bottling.
The Yarra Valley Pinot Noir is complex, silky and textural; the essence of the Yarra. -

August 19, 2018 - Bright red cherries, dried rose and grilled fennel with overtones of toasty oak and seasoned leather on the nose. Quite intense and complex. Palate echoed the nose with lots of minerals and fresh acidity. The mid-palate is full, savoury and energetic, leading to a rounded finish with some noticeable tannins at the very end. This is still a very young Pinot. Let it rest for another 2-3 years for the elements to settle down and harmonize, given the intensity of fruit, refreshing acid and ripe tannins. To drink it now, do decant for at least an hour and appreciate it with a big Burgundy wine glass.
