March 20, 2023 - Wet dog. Barnyard. Tasted like a natty Italian wine. Not a fan.

January 6, 2022 - I drank my first of two 10 months ago, the first Pinot Noir I'd had from this producer, and although I did no note I remember it well as it stunned me how dreadful it was. I opened this one with no enthusiasm and basically expecting to open something else behind it if it was poor. Stunned in the opposite direction this time as to how aromatically profound this one was, and how balanced and tasty. Guess I'll open companion from SRH soon.
December 26, 2021 - Light red fruit with some citrus and spice. Very little body. Good but not Very Good or Excellent, more at the level of a $20 pinot than the $55 I paid for it, which surprised considering my regard for this winery's chardonnays.
December 25, 2021 - Fairly typical CA Pinot Noir featuring perfumed notes of red fruit, spice, and vanilla. I really wanted to love this wine, but I have to agree with Neecie's review. It's good, but not great, especially for the price point.
March 25, 2021 - I brought it out of my cellar and had a glass while it was cold, nose was all earthy but the palate and finish were obnoxiously acidic. I was thinking - what a bad wine! After it warmed, I took a sip and gagged - vinegar. First time this has happened to me.
February 6, 2021 - All that you could want in a new world, restrained Pinot. Light red fruits, tangerine rind, earth, and a tad of spice. Quite food friendly and could certainly do well with a few more years in the cellar. Delicious
August 11, 2019 - Prior note holds true (but what was that typo!?)
June 29, 2019 - Forest floor, ground coffee nose (what?), then ole ty of lightly tart cherry on the palate. Earthy and deep and lively all at once.
May 3, 2019 - More open than bottle opened 2 years back, still very fresh with red berries, good acidity, lithy mid palate, very nice food wine. Still has lots of time.
