February 19, 2020 - the wine showed some sign of age, not really in place. good but not great. based on this bottle, I would not hold too long

May 15, 2019 - P&P. Typical quality chassagne with excellent combo of acidity and richness. The nose was a bit shy. Maybe it should have been decanted. No rush to drink.

February 12, 2016 - Medium golden yellow in color. Initially funky which blew off with extended airing and evolved into a full, forward & attractive nose of mature, ripe fruit aromas of lemons/limes, apples & orange rind with floral notes & roasted almond & hazelnut overtones, minerals, stony, limestone, smoky & a hint of burnt caramel. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, mature yet zesty, ripe fruit flavors of lemons/limes, grapefruit & green apple with minerals, stony & a hint of butterscotch. Long lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present and best enjoyed soon before it heads on its downward slope of development.

April 1, 2014 - Rich, slightly caramelized orchard fruit with some toasted almonds. At a good place now, but probably better a year or two ago.

January 2, 2011 - Fabulous wine with mature white fruit, peaches, lemon with a light carmel color. Lots of citrus on th epalate and a subtle nuttiness. Most important, the minerality, limestone and wet rocks really made this a special wine.
