Community Tasting Notes 2

April 25, 2018 - Needed some air, tasting simplistic and thin upon opening. After 1.5 hours of decanting, however, fruit became much fuller and broad. Rich and hedonistic fruit that reminded me of the Humvee on which my wife and I toured the winery last summer---well over the top, for sure. Some unresolved tannins and only moderate complexity. This is likely to improve with a year or two of age, but the style is admittedly New World, or stereotypical Napa, I guess.
