April 3, 2020 - Still young, will benefit from at least a couple of more years. Served with grilled barbecue chicken. Cherries, raspberries and crisp acidity in the initial flavors. Moderate mid-range and finish. Good mouthfeel. I have a couple of more left and will try again in 1-2 years.

January 19, 2020 - Great nose with a little leather. Nice alcohol level with balanced acidity. Good depth with a little bit of spice on the finish.

    January 12, 2020 - Vinturied into decant,
Not very good, acidic and dry, tannic and disjointed at the end of 3 hours.
Could be in a tranny state at this point, I would not buy another unless I was able to
    Sample it first.
    No idea on the window.

December 30, 2019 - Seemed very young. Finish was very tart. Not sure it’s worth the money.

October 15, 2019 - A bit thin on taste and feel on opening. Opened up over the next 2 hours and revealed nice aromas and flavors of dark cherry and red berries, with herbal/floral notes. Not bad, but not great at almost $50.

October 2, 2019 - EEE October 2019; Oregon plus a few ringers (@ AR): Red and dark berries, herbs, vanilla and some eucalyptus in the bouquet. On the palate chocolate, red berries and cherries, juicy acidity and mild tannin. Good length.

October 2, 2019 - Darker than the Lingua Franca just prior. Black cherry and dark fruit flavors. Nice.

September 21, 2019 - Pnp, perfect cork and level, ruby, denser than usual for Burgundy, little rim development; attractive if relatively straightforward cherry fruit driven bouquet with a touch of raspberry and earth notes, ripe; medium full, quite long and persistent, sweetish if simple core, happily not over-extracted, correct rather than exciting, silky, scope to improve. At least VG (16)…...better drink than technical mark shows!

September 4, 2019 - This deep ruby wine offers aromas and flavors of ripe raspberries and cherries, accented with notes of clove, black tea, bramble leaf and sassafras. Medium-bodied and with low-to-medium acidity, it wraps its flavors with relatively soft tannins, restrained oak and silent alcohol (listed as 14.1%). Unfortunately, it thins out dramatically on the middle palate and concludes with a short finish that lacks vibrancy. Being a fan of Drouhin's Oregon operation, I am at a loss for what went wrong here. Drink now-2022.
