March 16, 2024 - Purchased two cases of this upon release and it seems to be doing pretty well as investment. Which is lucky as there's not enough there for me at this stage to justify drinking the wine at this price. Admittedly this was the "early bottle" opened on a special occasion and this young, it could be in an early closed down phase for all I know. Dark, rich and pretty full-bodied Bordeaux blend with good berry fruit and soft tannins. A very solid wine but blind, I never would have guessed it was anything like a £300 bottle of Sassicaia. I will check back on the next bottle in a few years but that second case might have to pay for the other one..

January 21, 2024 - Strong notes of leather and tobacco. Not as well balanced as previous bottles and quite tight. Maybe in a shutdown period? Going to wait a few years before opening another I think.

December 31, 2023 - Very strong. Rich, savory, with just enough fruit to tickle the senses. Nice acid, too. Drank with NYE dinner (braised short ribs), and it paired perfectly.

December 25, 2023 - Took an hour of so to relax. Quite firm and tangy to start., deepened with time. Delicious, medium body style.

November 19, 2023 - Just great. In the beginning of its drinking window. This is a stately, satin suit textured bordeaux blend. Of course this is young, and the tannins are still clearly present, but this has an understated elegance to it already.

Dark berries, very fine pipe tobacco, pencil lead. Served blind to a group of friends, who thought this was high end pauillac. I agree wirh them, but in a pretty clean style. How I want bordeaux to taste.

October 29, 2023 - Notes are consistent with previous reviewer. Blue fruit and pretty tightly wound. Still lots of room for development.

June 2, 2023 - Brought this to the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco to help celebrate a good friend's 50th birthday. It was definitely a crowd favorite on the table where it shared company with an 08 Dal Forno Amarone, 15 Barroche PUR CDP, 08 Quilceda Creek, 16 Maybach Materium, 95 Diamond Creek Volcanic Hill and even a 73 Beaulieu Vineyard Napa Valley Cab! Very red-fruited in the initial hour, with notes of pencil lead. Very light on its feet with a beautiful and lithe texture. Darker fruit profile started to appear as the night went on. Flowers, asian spice, and everything oh so nice. Lovely. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cab Franc.
