January 22, 2024 - PnP at friends house. Paired with chili, pizza and wings - standard NFL playoff food. After it opened up a bit, it became more expressive. Some dark fruits, hints of florals, even some chocolate. Mild sediment left in the final pour, but nothing off putting. Nice bottle that was likely not to improve any further.

January 1, 2024 - Very nice wine - opened two hours before a family dinner.
Age has been good for it - I remember this wine from five years ago. It was good then but it is now softer, mellower and has more complex aromas. -

September 15, 2023 - Decanted for about 2 hours and that was probably a little too much. Overall very nice with a great mouthfeel and finish. Fruit was a little muted but plenty going on.

January 24, 2022 - Color still beautiful ruby red, on the darker side. Nose has nice dark berry fruit, black pepper, maybe some eucalyptus and black tar. Palate actually filled out quite a bit with air. Drinking great. Medium bodied, loaded with dark fruit. Definitely decant an hour, as it really opened.
