June 24, 2020 - From magnum, courtesy of R&D. Deep yellow color. Apple, quince and a good bit of vanilla. Full-bodied, the fruit carries the heavy oak influence nicely. Apple and fig flavors.

August 22, 2019 - Apple flavor and aroma, a bit too much oak when first opened, improved an hour after opening.

May 8, 2019 - Off the list at Montarra. They were not shy about using oak in this wine. Hints of tropical fruit with a touch of floral. First time with this bottling. Mrs. TLV liked it a lot more than I did.

September 17, 2018 - Very nice Chard. Big, bold style. Not too oaky. A little hot on the finish.

August 2, 2018 - Proof for tasting. 90% NFO, full malo, 14.9%. Big boy, showing classic style, big oak notes, tropical fruit, cedar, cinnemon. Full, rich palate. Hedonistic.

August 11, 2017 - Vindredi (White Burgundy and California Chardonnay) (Bellevue, WA): Tasted blind. Some oak presence on the nose. Rich and slightly buttery on the palate, with pear, spice, and citrus. Lovely and balanced finish. Really nice!
