January 15, 2021 - For a $16 bottle of wine, this is damn good. The nose, the nice velvet feel on the tongue and good finish made this one a good accompaniment to prime burgers on the grill.
December 28, 2018 - Suprisingly good. Currents, dark chocolate and blueberry.
Nice nose, nice finish.
December 3, 2018 - Good
December 3, 2018 - Very good and smooth!
October 22, 2018 - great stuff. oaky and dark with spot-on varietal character.
July 17, 2018 - Pleasantly surprised. Dark ruby red color, almost borderline purple. Buttery on the nose with both black and red fruit characteristics. This wine really cotes the palate with a bit of sweetness and extracted fruit, but minimal tannins. Easy to drink and crowns pleaser. Medium finish. A bit too sweet on the palate for me for merlot, but good QPR nonetheless. Drink over next 2-3 years
May 21, 2018 - smooth stuff. simple and straightforward with just a little kick at the finish.
May 14, 2018 - After an hour+ decant, boatloads of chocolate/cocoa on the nose. Some plum and cherry intertwined with chocolate on the palate. Decent enough acidity and tannins to hold up against steak.
14.5% abv
90% Merlot, 10% Syrah
March 3, 2018 - Wow!! Very smooth and well developed. I normally don't care for Washington state Merlot due to the rough acidity and tannis but this one has had enough time to mellow out. Big aromas of cherry, dark fruit, coco, and spice box. Rich mouth feel and we'll balanced. Toasted Coconut comes through on the finish. This one's a keeper! Buy now! Enjoy with hearty pasta or roasted meat dishes.
February 20, 2018 - Aromatic ripe red berry, coconut/chocolate macaroon nose. Big, lush flavours, med-full bodied; long finish with very good replays.
