    November 26, 2023 - Some sediment.
Dark black-cherry red, no sign of ageing.
Unassuuming nose: liquorice, dark stone fruits, metal copper edge, saddle leather.
Medium-full body, supple tannins, a little acidity, mulberry-blackberry fruit.
    Some length.
Great QPR, good, easy drinking southern Rhone red.

May 18, 2023 - Damask red. Tar, ripe figs, blackberries, alcohol. Medium-full bodied, á point, ripe dark fruits - damsons, plums, mulberry. Very appealing.

February 22, 2022 - I can relate to several of the other positive comments about this wine in the section below. I think it's a good wine on the upper scale but it´s not very good. This wine developed well after opening and I should maybe wait a little bit with my tasting notes but after 30 mins we have a lot of dark red berries and a medium to full body with medium tannins. Some spiciness that works fine with some robust red meat.

January 7, 2022 - On the nose red berry coulis infused with rose petals but on the palate black fruits such as blackberry are more to the fore. It’s spicy, soft and velvety, and yet there is still a stamp of freshness from start to finish. The fruit is sweet and ripe but there is a perceptible savoury element to provide the balance.
I sampled this vintage just before Xmas in a formal tasting event, but this was easily a superior bottle. On this occasion, I double-decanted and felt I got the serving temperature just right whereas before it might have been a little too chilled.
Overall, I think this is simply an amazing wine for the money. Alas, it’s my only bottle from this year but I have plenty of bottles of more recent vintages to look forward to starting with a case of 2016. This certainly gets my vote and a rating of 89 points.

December 21, 2021 - Soft red fruits mainly cherry, seasoned with white pepper. Still fresh with soft tannins with a super finish. It’s a lovely wine and offers terrific value. CHP 87 pts
