  November 17, 2023 - Tasted at the winery. More spice notes on the nose as compared to either the 2021 or 2017 as well as darker red cherry and even hints of black cherry. Between light and medium bodied and slightly dry upfront and initially feels like a wine on the edge. Develops through the mid-body, showing red cherry and darker red cherry with a bit more depth and a bit more character. Backside shows light spices and mineral notes. Overall, has held up well and the mid-body still show rewarding qualities. Not at the same level as the 2009, but has held up as well or nearly as well as the 2004 and 2007 but this is a wine to be drunk in the near term.

  June 9, 2013 - Mellow and at a good age! Soft tannins, plenty of Cranberry and tobacco but also earth.
