Community Tasting Notes 3

July 5, 2019 - One hour decant. Bright red fruit on the nose, including fresh strawberry - sugary but not in unpleasant way. Full body, medium complexity over base of cherries, sweet black plums (including the acidity), dusty pencil lead. Medium acidity so better with food (had with lamb).

April 21, 2019 - Cherry, spices and leather on the nose. Super focused with pepper, leather, red berries and vanilla initially. This is highly structured still sharp tannins, but alcohol well integrated (15%). Long fresh finish with tart cherry, earth and truffles in the end. Drunk with lamb shanks for Easter dinner.

May 4, 2017 - Much more accessible and present fruit to the nose. No wood getting in the way. A softer and more delicate palate, but really brings on med/+ intensity of flavor to the palate. Fruit presence. Damn this is fine.
