    March 7, 2021 - Day 1, 1 hr of slowox
    Dark, non-descript aromatics. 86 p
Rather dull, low-acidity wine with tiny tannins and rich Grenache body. Not a testosterone bottle, rather a flabby one (almost).
    Delicious but not doing anything.

    Day 2, 94 p
    Now tannins are peeking out.
There's definitely life in this thing yet. A brilliant wine tonight!

Sauna, as in dry, hot wood. Deep fruits. Dark and towards monolithic. There's a reference to raspberries, but most of the nose-portal is closed.

In the mouth loads of stuff now going on!
Tannic towards drying my mouth, especially in the end-palate. Fruit is lurking in the shadows. Licorice, La Garrigue, burning wood, raspberries, restraint and held-back expressions. Quite a loveable wine. Totally lifted since yesterday. This has nerve and sinew, not much heft. Pre-Parker CdP. Brilliant effort, will only get better for many years to come. Damn this is great!

Blinded, I'd probably have gone for a modern, de luxe Southern France Grenache-Syrah-Carignan from 2016-ish.

June 30, 2013 - Pretty tasty but I think it definitely was past its prime based on what I've read here.
