October 2, 2019 - Had this during our Tuscany trip with friends 9/28 to 10/5 to Villa Montepulciano.
Similar to the 2016. Nose of earth and cherry, on the palette wine is berry forward with cherry following in a richly fruit dominant presence. The finish becomes tight and reveals spice with quite present tannin.
