March 27, 2020 - Excellent Sekt with yeast and minerals. Rather dry and acidic.

I guessed Riesing Sekt 2010 because of the acidity but from Mosel. 88

October 24, 2019 - Great acidity, notes of butter and white fruit.

  • Green Isaac Likes this wine: 90 points

May 23, 2019 - Lots of yellow fruit and peach. Autolytic with biscuity notes. A great mix of characters typical of classic sparkling wine (read: chardonnay-based) as well as riesling-typicity.

Acidity is still young and perky.

March 31, 2019 - A private lunch (Restaurant Schwarzenstein - Nils Henkel **, Geisenheim, Germany): Disgorged by Wegeler on demand for the restaurant. Unsurprisingly, identical to my note from three weeks ago.
