March 19, 2023 - Excellent Sauternes de haut vol ;-)
Nez: melon, ananas, botrytis.

On dénote cependant l'abricot.

February 11, 2019 - Focused on the buttery pineapple with tropical fruits and vanilla all coated with honey, you find a rich, lushly textured, honey soaked treat.

January 26, 2019 - Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux 2016 Vintage Tasting (Las Vegas, NV): Effusive of ripe peaches, apricots, vanilla, honeysuckle, orange marmalade and melon, the 2016 La Tour Blanche is enticing from the get-go. What makes the wine special, however, is its excellent balancing acidity. Luscious and layered in the middle and long on the finish, this is an outstanding "sticky" worthy of recognition. As good as it is now, a few years in the cellar will make it even better. Drink 2024-2046.

January 23, 2019 - UGC Bordeaux (Drake Hotel - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Intensely floral start with tropical fruit and apricot. Very good density, with flavors perhaps not as nuanced today vs the Sauternes also tasted. 92-93 point potential.

January 21, 2019 - OMG did this stand out tonight among the sauternes . Tropical & exotic fruits. Mango, then pear, then kiwi, then tangerine, then honey and butter. Tremendous.

    November 24, 2018 - At a tasting of over 40 Bordeaux 2016's last month.
Wow nose of exotic fruits. Served quite warm, which would have contributed to the openness. A perhaps generous 94.
Good if you like this style. See Doisy Vedrines if you want Suduiraut without the price tag, or Suduiraut if you want the best.
