Biskuit Does not like this wine:
January 18, 2024 - in Thailand, I have read that when people eat something that is not to their taste, they don’t say “I don’t like this,” but rather, “I don’t know how to eat this”. With this wine, I do not know how to drink this.

March 24, 2023 - Not as good as last bottle. Nose was nonexistent for the first hour or so. Decanted for an hour. Finally got a little oak/ vanilla and crushed cherry aromas.
Ripe plums, raspberries and cherry pie on the palette. Good background acidity. Tannins mostly resolved with a slight bit of dryness on the finish.
Probably needed a longer decant but at 10 yo I would expect it to open up easier. -

March 2, 2023 - INcredibly young, silky smooth and has awesome complexity. No formal notes were taken, consumed with Rob B. in Scottsdale.

October 19, 2022 - I have had many bottles of sine qua non over the years. This really is one of my favorites. Best served on the cool side. Explosive nose. Very long on the palate with dark fruit. My sweet spot.

August 6, 2022 - Drinking well! Gave it a 2 hr decant drank over the preceding 2-3 hrs. Enjoyed with a smoky slow cooked short rib @ Bottega.
Still has room to improve but it possesses elegance and graceful power at this time. Could hit 96-97 with more bottle age.
