September 9, 2019 - Fine Vines Fall 2019 Portfolio Tasting (City Winery - Chicago IL): Walk-around tasting, brief note. Tasted just after the 2017, and suffering from the comparison. Rich and slightly fat,showing pear and poached pear with good weight and length. Good to enjoy young while still this fresh.

April 8, 2019 - Pale. Pineapple. Quenching. Bit of a dry astringency/bite there that may well mellow with time. Agree with others-this is less over-the-top than many 15s. Nice.

November 11, 2018 - Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. Slightly more restrained than many Villages level 2015s with good spice, good weight. Cellar for a year+ for some better integration.

October 1, 2018 - Fine Vines Fall 2018 Portfolio Tasting (City Winery - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Apple and spice aromas get this off to a great start for its level. Similar flavors, but new oak needs a little more time to absorb. Cellar at least one more year.
