January 28, 2023 - From Magnum (screwcap). Gee this was good. Blackerry, plums and all in balance. Could easily go another 10 years.

January 19, 2022 - Inspired after reading a few of the co-owners monthly blog posts, I thought it was time to try my first bottle of the ‘14.

Geez this good (and great value). Plenty of flavour, with notes of plum and cassis, but medium bodied and beautifully balanced with crisp acidity and fine tannin. Got years ahead of it.

March 17, 2021 - Not a lot of comments in the reviews I shall attempt mine. Looks dark and inviting and smells divine. It has that whiff of marigolds (well you insert your own flower) that makes it so attractive along with the pure dark fruits. Its very very inviting. I expect this is the influence of strong Cabernet Franc in the fantastic Merlot of the vintage.

Well wait until you taste it. Such a rush. (I don't take drugs. Well alcohol is my drug and this is the best.) Such rich but perfect dark fruit cassis with the subtle moderating effect of wallflowers, petunias and geraniums. Have I explained? This is a little bit floral even in the mouth and glorious but that's only an addition to a sensational Cabernet wine just beautiful to drink now. So fruity but with other complexity adding aspects, balance, good length and simply divine flavour.

I wish I had more of this. Amazing. Many years ahead of this but gorgeous now. Its as good as the Reserves from this vintage and that's saying something!

May 7, 2017 - Delicious wine. Right bank Bdx from Oz! Lovely nose of red fruits (red currants, mulberries, cherries), smoky oak, a hint of cooling menthol/mint, some spicing too. Medium bodied at best, the palate is fresh but powerful - pure red fruits, hint of anise, a floral mouth perfume (as GW sometimes mentions on TWF), crushed rock tannin and acidity round out the lengthy, balanced finish. Enjoyable now, but you just know that in 10 years this will be very special indeed. Yum!
