September 22, 2019 - Prior bottle was only three months ago and this wine remains in a very good spot. Nose shows a mix of more tart apple, more expressive peach and an overlay of floral qualities. To the lighter side of medium bodied with white apple and pear upfront, adding deeper white peach through the middle with just a touch of background acidity providing nice contrasting tension. Backside shows more acidity: lemon, tart apple and then mineral notes through the finish. Felt like the integration between the mid-body and finish has improved slightly as has overall expressiveness. Fruit continues to show well and acidity continues to hold up nicely. Drinking quite well now and a great example of the quality of the vintage.

June 27, 2019 - Prior bottle was seven months ago and my notes were essentially the same. Apple, peach and floral notes on the nose. Remains to the light side of medium bodied with soft, white apple upfront, moving towards peach in the middle with just a tinge of more green melon. Lemon, tart apple and mineral provide good contrast and backbone. The acidity seemed a bit softer than the prior bottle, but this was served a touch warmer. In general, certainly has the acidity to remain at its current level. Good fruit complexity with just enough acidity and tart notes to lend some crispness and definition. No reason to delay drinking these. They will last for at least another 18 months at this level, but I don't see room for additional positive evolution and therefore, these are best enjoyed at the current peak. With one bottle left, I will save it for November 2019.

November 13, 2018 - Prior bottle was almost exactly 4 months ago and this wine remains in a great spot. As I served this a bit cooler than the prior bottle, there was more apple and melon on the nose, only picking up the peach and floral as it warmed. Just to the light side of medium bodied with a very nice mix of apple and pear coupled with richer peach and some tropical notes (as it warmed). Backside shows melon, lemon and mineral qualities along with balancing acidity. Overall, felt like the wine had a little more depth than last time and by serving a bit cooler, showed more complexity as it evolved over nearly three hours open. The quality of the 2016 vintage really shows through and I wish I had purchased a few more. Next bottle might wait until June 2019.

November 11, 2018 - Nice, refreshing Riesling. White flowers on the nose, tropical fruit on the palate. Quite a value.

July 14, 2018 - Based on last month's winery tasting, decided to open another bottle and I wasn't disappointed. White peach and floral notes on the nose. To the lighter side of medium bodied and showed a slightly richer fruit profile this time with apple and peach upfront and adding some slightly tropical notes behind. Acidity remains very good and adds that slight edge of crispness and minerality to the fruit. Finishes with light citrus qualities and minerals. Next bottle in November 2018.
