March 17, 2024 - Classic, cooler style. Tobacco, leather, plum, cacao. Fruit still there but mostly dominated by the earthier flavors. Tannins fully resolved but plenty of structure from the acid spine. Very good length.

December 15, 2018 - During the year end Gala Dinner of the Commanderie de Bordeaux Hong Kong with Domaines Rothschild CEO Jean-Guillaume Prats present as guest host. Usually not a fan of 1986 but this wine really showed well. On the cool side with blue fruit, pine, wet forest floor. Freshness and energy on the palate was impeccable though. Nice surprise.
