Medium taste of wild raspberry, ripe cherry, forest floor, vanilla, roasted walnuts and dried orange. Long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Light tannins. Medium body. A very good Hautes-Côtes de Nuits that is well integrated and balanced. Much warmer than the 2016. Needed an hour to open up. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Goes well with duck, pork, poultry or veal.
