April 25, 2022 - Full bodied, very fruity, 15.2 alcohol. Drinking well. Just a tad too sweet for me, but many will like it.
December 18, 2020 - Corked
January 4, 2020 - Fantastic QPR here if the goal is a big fruit forward Washington cab. Night two was just as good.
April 1, 2018 - Del Friscos Houston. Very enjoyable Washington wine paired beautifully with a ribeye. Fully accessible and fruit forward. Would buy a bottle or two. Reviewer tallmikewine pointed out his suspicion that this is a conglomerate “stealth brand”. Seems to be more of a small entrepreneur fronted by overzealous marketers. Ignore all that.
December 26, 2017 - Found this wine quite enjoyable as a nice approachable washington cab. Well integrated, nice fruit profile with a medium finish.
December 14, 2017 - Needs an hour of air time. Medium violet/ruby color with crushed berry aromas. Medium bodied ripe black cherry fruit on the palate, finishes with some decent dryness, grip. Nice wine.
November 8, 2017 - Ruby red dense color. Jammy with vanilla and currant notes. Very balanced good structure low tannin
October 10, 2017 - Tasty, and great QPR! Is this a front for some Corporate Wine Conglomerate? I bought it at my neighborhood Lucky store, where the selection is typically from all the Big Box producers. Winery website is fairly vague, doesn't disuade me of this notion.
August 19, 2017 - Way to over-extracted for my taste and sweet compared to what you would find in a more normal new world cab.
May 19, 2017 - Concur, this is a rather sweet expression of Cabernet. Very quiet aromas. While I wouldn't say 'jammy fruit,' but it seems consciously, actually sweet. Has some baking spice on the finish.
