November 24, 2017 - For me this was the top wine in the 2015 Caton lineup. Nose is sweet, with a fermented de cassis aroma, spice, leather. Supple and delicious, with that ripe fruit but framed nicely by polished tannins and enough acidity to lift and define the wine. Long finish. Can be enjoyed now, but I think this will be even better with 2-3 year’s cellar time.
