  February 21, 2021 - Pleasant shtank on the nose, which blew off after 30 minutes or so to reveal a high-toned syrah in an old-world style. Loads of dark fruit without veering into the jammy end of the spectrum. Nicely done, and I think this will hold for a few years at least.

  February 9, 2020 - Had this last night, great and eloquent nose, red and black fruits, a touch flowery, long lasting scents. On the mouth, medium bodied frame, nice acidity, tannins went away after 20 mins. Better nose than palate but a nice elegant syrah that left me wanting for some peppery notes.

  February 14, 2019 - When choosing a wine to celebrate love on Valentine's Day, this one came to mind, as it is a project that embodies the concept of love. Has nice acidity, low alcohol, and "lovely" dark red fruit. Nice balance and elegance not often found in CA syrah. A classy wine, just like the person who brought it together. Kudos Jorge!

  October 9, 2018 - Great nose. It really comes across as a rich wine from a harsh site. Not quite sappy but with a great backbone of gravel.

  March 16, 2018 - Pretty darned tasty. A pleasure to drink, and I think it'll get better in a year or two. Probably not an ultra-long term ager, but who cares? It's enjoyable right now. I'm happy to support such a personal, heartfelt and positive project.
